Option to require customers to verify their e-mail address before they can submit a ticket.

This should verify if the email address really belongs to the ticket submission and is not just a request with a fake sender. Just need to be done once, if email is not already verified by a previous ticket. So not much hassle for the user. So, this is not to prevent spam! This is to prevent identity abuse.

I agree with a second re-type your email address field which could be disabled/enabled via the admin.

I guess, so long as it was an *option*. Isn't CAPTCHA enough though? Presuming the idea is to prevent spam... Also, I think it might just frustrate people.

Agree. Detects typing mistakes made by older, stiff finger seniors like myself. Enter 2x and they must match.
But this could also be implemented by the customer login database requested elsewhere.
